For the best performance of your engine, it has to be installed according to regulations of the manufacturer.
Buy your engine at MTU Detroit Diesel Benelux and your project leader will take care of this. The installer receives the necessary drawings, schemes and technical details, specifically for your engine. He will check the object, where the engine will be built in. Together with the installer he will try to come to solutions, so that your engine will perform without any problems.
During the installation he, or one of the project engineers, will regularly check the progress.
If required, we will start-up the engine and do a trail run. You will receive a service folder with among other things:
• Description and operation manuals
• Fluids and lubricants specifications
• Parts catalogs
• Tool catalogs
All information, which are noted during installation, start-up and trail run, will be sent to the manufacturer.
We also process this information ourselves, so all our employees are aware of the technical details of
your installation.
